Year 6 pupils hosted a heart-warming community meal using fresh Shropshire ingredients. From planning to cooking, they led it all—earning praise as “a credit to the school.” A beautiful day of kindness, connection, and local pride. 🌱🍽️ #Community#Year6
It was wonderful to be part of the UK I ❤️ Art tour with @NickCorston from STEAMCo.
Everyone was immersed into the history of the industrial revolution, made their very own rocket and saw a rocket launch. Amazing day! Thank you @RAF_Shawbury for the window to launch the rocket.
We were over the moon to hear the amazing news that our Year 4 girls were part of the Shawbury United Junior Football Club - Shawbury Skunks who won the Shropshire U9s Girls Management Cup Final. Congratulations to all players on a fabulous win to a tremendous season.
Everyone enjoyed exploring and identifying the main features of our forest school area with parents this afternoon. The children loved were creating their own maps of forest school using natural materials to identify different features.
It was wonderful to welcome our parents to our open history lessons. KS1 were comparing holiday now and in Victorian Britain, LKS2 had a carousal of learning around Viking settlements including Danelaw and UKS2 were learning about the Maya writing and number system.
Young people self-measure their understanding of mental wellbeing & online safety & reassess this after their Resilience Reps training is completed to demonstrate improvements.
