Gordon Primary School and Nursery sits in the beautiful, historic surroundings within the town of Huntly, overlooking Huntly Castle and the River Deveron.

Unfortunately, the closures of Gordon Primary School and Nursery will go ahead this week due to three days of strike action by Unison members.
P2/3 and P3 have been learning about disabilities lately, so it was great to be able to do a workshop with Charlie House. We learned how tricky everyday things can be for some other children, and discovered ways in which we can help them.
The P5-7 Sports Day will not take place on Monday 19th of June due to the yellow weather warning for rain. We hope to go ahead on Tuesday if dry enough but will confirm tomorrow or Tuesday am. Please pass the word to parents who may not see this. Thanks for your understanding.
Some of our P7 pupils who were not at Knockburn Loch last week were exploring science at TGS with Mrs Johnson and Dr Morrison the science technition. They were mixing chemicals and doing flame tests.

Gordon Nursery will open from 9am – 3.30pm for Huntly children only operating on limited staff numbers.
