Looking into the 3.0 wallpapers has made me realize that that bridge image is definitely 100% a reference to Valko because:

1) the color schemes of those wallpapers all clearly reference the LI’s eye color (Caleb’s is kind of blueish-purple but this is the only one you could kind of argue it’s not as obvious) & the bridge image is gold like Valko’s eyes.

2) People sometimes say the bridge is referencing Caleb’s 3rd myth or that it “belongs” to him. But (from my understanding) it is more likely a reference to the Naihe bridge. A lot of the depictions I’ve seen have the same shape. Since it’s supposed to be the bridge you have to cross over to reincarnate it makes sense we’d see it in Caleb’s myth but it doesn’t belong to him & it makes sense we’d see it in other myths as well. (I’m not super knowledgeable so correct me if I’m wrong!)

3) The fact that it wasn’t posted under Caleb’s name on the website confirms it is not associated with him in my opinion.

i remember when we had 58k downloads spike after valko's trailer, a day before he got cancelled. these might come from both returning players & entirely new ones. shame tht infold willing to lose these much potential customers who would spend on valko & help revenue skyrocketed

The game was getting repetitive, and Valko was their solution to that. Adding new characters is one of the ways devs bring life back to their games
Now that Valko is gone, the game is still repetitive, aaaand they've created another big problem on top of the one they already had

i know many believe (and for pretty sound reason tbh) that valko will most likely have the biggest window to return after sylus' ms release in november.

if you think about it, if the company's trying to make sure they tie up as many loose ends they've left untied as they can, and to assist in appeasing those they've disappointed (us included), their actions are somewhat on par with that—granted, valko didn't need to be cancelled for us to receive any of this but i bitterly digress lol ...

but yk, just looking at the revenue, i don't know ... can they even push until then? can they hold onto valko for that long? september is almost up, they just had a busy month full of greasy paywalled bullshit, and they've bled tens and tens of millions regardless.

i don't know, maybe i'm just ill informed on the matter, but i just feel like ... it can't possibly go on like this until then, right? they've pulled all the stops, and still, it's proven that it isn't enough.

they were already falling prior to valko in the first place—cancelling valko helped plummet them into the dirt.

i just don't know how long they can take this. essentially, we've literally been at this for 3 months straight w ZERO comms from the company. none.
