What an incredible response we’ve had to welcoming teachers into our community! 💙
Please bear with us as demand has been exceptional and we're experiencing some issues that our team are working hard to fix.

Pearson Edexcel SoW - leave it as is on spreadsheet or have others changed it to add in more detail? Anyone added Sparx codes? Hoping that someone might have done this already and possibly save me some time!
@missradders Not an app, but (language)pod101 is a good website for whatever language. You can choose lessons on topics. Requires a bit more of a sit down than the ease of an app though. The free version is more than enough to start
Student friendly lists. Just remember, some stuff in "2 star" WILL come up, just hopefully not too much. All based on prior trends but that does not guarantee anything for the future.

@harrisonmaths According to my kids - 3 part ratio question which then asked for a percentage of one of them. ‘What percentage of jars were small and empty’
@GarethMacG Yes, I assume they’ve just looked for old markers. I marked in summer 2021 and 22, was rejected for lack of qualifications, for the same paper, in 2023 (?) and didn’t apply this year.
@MissTurnerChem@TTRadioOfficial Incredible. We’ve had an advert out for a teacher of maths for 10 months. Two applicants. Neither were maths specialists and we turned both down … I love my job, but having to focus on cover and firefighting is exhausting. I want to improve T&L and curriculum but have no space!
Has anyone done any QLA/ self evaluation forms for the June 2023 papers. I’m looking for forms that pupils can fill in to identify key topics for improvement, if anyone has any to share?
@Chris_Arnold94 I teach a similar number of GCSE kids and when I set a paper and want to assess it myself, I don’t mark every question. I choose about 3 questions I think are key and only mark those.
@ThtPedagogyGeek On Google flights you can check the price trend and the max/min the flight has been. The difference a day can make is crazy! You can also get email updated about flight changes. Good luck!
