Geoffrey Mugambe, from the @OPMUganda, Department of Refugees noted that Uganda hosts over 2 million refugees, half of who are children, calls for the design and implementation of tailored interventions that build market-driven options for self-reliance, for learning, and for future policy generation.
Amid reducing humanitarian assistance, stronger collaboration and solidarity among partners is essential. Refugees should be supported to embrace value-addition and leverage their skills to participate in an expanding job market.
