@2024nattyychamp@UCCowboy My fault. I didn’t realize I was talking to a casual who still thinks bowl games mean anything at all. That’s on me. Back to Facebook you go.
@2024nattyychamp@UCCowboy@CFBNerds The FSU loss was week 1 and immediately redeemed when Alabama beat Georgia. Can you tell me what’s worse: beating South Carolina in a close game or needing overtime to beat Kentucky? I’ll wait. And Auburn plays Alabama close every single year at Jordan Hare, you casual.
@BuckeyeBallers@UCCowboy@CFBNerds This is rich coming from an Ohio State fan. “Resume wasn’t that strong” and “didn’t pass the eye test” when the entire big 10 and your team specifically is built off passing the eye test against scrubs and then going 2-2 against ranked opponents.
@UCCowboy@Sci_Saint@CFBNerds My bad bro. I didn’t realize I was talking to an Ohio State fan. What was that record against ranked opponents this year, again?
@UCCowboy@2024nattyychamp@CFBNerds If you finish #1 in the standings of the most competitive and talent rich conference in the country, you are an objectively good team. Unless you think only 4 teams in the country can qualify as “good”, which is insanely dumb. If Alabama isn’t good, then 99% of the teams aren’t.
@Sci_Saint@UCCowboy@CFBNerds That falls apart when you realize Georgia was an objectively good team this season and the SEC’s record against P4 conferences this regular season was the best in the country.
@DevinOblakely@wakeupbarstool@ConnerHKnapp Do we know that though? Louisville and SMU played Miami tougher than Ohio State did. You can’t just assume OSU would’ve beaten those teams when they struggled to move the ball in the only 3 games (Texas, Indiana, and Miami) where they played defenses with NFL talent and lost.
@runngunn29@wakeupbarstool@barstoolsports@ConnerHKnapp They were being talked about as unbeatable and being the best offense in the country. The only reason that was happening was because they were running it up on mediocre teams. As soon as they ran into a defense with any sort of NFL talent, they stalled out.
@SareesDad@wakeupbarstool@ConnerHKnapp Michigan was 0-4 against ranked teams this season. They were not a good team. Ohio State played 3 teams with NFL talent on the defensive side of the football and they went 1-2 in those games. And tbh I don’t think Ohio State beats Texas if they rematched today.
@hatebeatinggoff@joelklatt@CanesFootball Tonight was a prime example of why Ohio State didn’t deserve home-field, bud. Their schedule was an absolute joke and they lost to the two best teams they played this season and had a close game with the 3rd best team they played this season. Let’s not reward cupcake schedules.
