@shinobi602 Bloober team are on a roll. SH2 remake in 2024, Cronos last year, and now a DLC for Cronos. Hopefully with SH1 remake following on next year or the one after.
@strawhatellie You could even say RE7, and especially the RE engine saved Capcom itself. Resident Evil became their biggest franchise and the RE engine became the framework for every single future project they had.
@Invinium The game doesn't even have a demo out but everyone apparently decided it's one of the best games ever made, I genuinely struggle to understand because the trailers make this look like your average chinese martial arts soulslop.
@GameGPU_com Now how are the denuvo glazers going to defend this?
"UhM acktchually the performance impact is negligible, you're just cherry picking a game with bad optimization"
@kalaelizabeth I think a better compromise would be to just have time pass only when doing quests. Instead of having every little thing cost a time segment, they can even take inspiration from the way the calendar system worked in Persona and Metaphor.
@DiscussingFilm This man directed Weapons and Barbarian, I never doubted this would be a great horror film, glad to be proven right. But the RE fandom kept shitting on this movie either way, and they'll probably continue to.
@medster101 When reviews came out I saw some people pulling off ranged issens, so when I played the game I tried an ungodly amount of times to pull it off before deciding it's impossible.
....Then I discovered it's a skill you need to unlock
@JSwayArt Some people hear one opinion and just keep parroting it, most of these people haven't even touched the game but heard someone call the Demo too easy so they jumped on the hate wagon.
@TheHiddenOneAC Best advice to really get into Control is to read every single document you find, it builds up the world so well and helps you get immersed. Soon enough you'll be scouring the place because you just want to learn more about Objects of Power, Altered events, and so on.
@mcquack306 I kept picking up that item and forgetting about it because I never used any item other than regular heals, so it's only after watching other people's playthroughs have I realized just how much easier of a time I'd have had with the final boss if I'd only used the revival mirror.
@CloutStrife1st Don't get the issue tbh, they're both fun fights, even Byakue. It was really fun to learn their movesets and especially how to issen some of their easier attacks. Unlike with the GoW 2018 Troll fights, you're not just mindlessly dodging and hitting, they have their own rhythm.
@genesis7k It's the only game that takes some inspiration from Sekiro but does its own thing without shamelessly ripping off that game's mechanics like some other games do, and it resulted in a combat system that rivals and sometimes even surpasses Sekiro imo.
@7Spideycomics They haven't put out a single game in this gen other than a remake and a couple remasters, and they have just a single game in production that's STILL years away. At least KJP put out a sequel to Death Stranding while also working on OD and doing preproduction for Physint.
@mujina_dmc This is one mini-boss I'm glad they reused a lot, he's always fun to fight. One of my favorites moments in my playthrough is when I ended the fight by deflecting one of the waves back at him and it split him clean in half.
