Saying good-bye to the kids I’ve come to love and enjoy spending my day with is difficult. As my kids leave they each take a piece of my heart. I guess it’s okay, since for 9 1/2 months they’ve been filling it up. I’m blessed for the time we had. #41inthebooks @wildcats_wms

Tomorrow I will welcome my new students to our room for our second “first day.” I am so excited for tomorrow and what the new year brings. As always, I pray that God will make me the teacher my kids need, and we all will learn why He brought us together. @wildcats_wms

What a strange start to a school year! Sitting in an empty, silent classroom doesn’t feel right. Silence is not always golden. The bright part of the day was getting to meet some of my students. Moments of conversation and a few laughs with my new kids were golden! #9/8Can’tWait

While this year, will present challenges, it’s my hope to make it a wonderful experience for my new 6th graders. They’re always so anxious to start on this new chapter of life, & I want to do all I can to make sure it has a happy ending. Prayers and positive thoughts appreciated!
