No more coaches who need this job to prove they’re good enough. No more managers figuring it out as they go while the club calls it patience. We’ve been there. It doesn’t work.

The next one has to mean something.

We’re talking about a name that changes the vibe the second it’s announced. Players feel it. The dressing room feels it. Fans feel it. That’s where Chelsea are right now, too broken and too lost to hand this job to someone who’s still finding their feet at the top level.

This isn’t the time to gamble. It’s the time to show whether Todd Boehly and this ownership group are actually serious about this club.

Because this hire isn’t just about tactics. It’s about the message Chelsea sends to everyone watching.

Are we still a club that collects coaches and asks fans to be patient? Or have we finally had enough?
