They Shot My Twin Dead, Then Took ₦170,000” – Kasie Exposes Anambra Police
A young man identified as Kasie has publicly accused police officers in Ogidi of extortion, assault, and involvement in the death of his twin brother during an alleged accidental discharge incident.
According to Kasie, the first tragedy occurred in March 2026 at Ogidi Junction. He and his late twin brother had gone out at night to buy something when police officers reportedly engaged in a confrontation nearby. Stray bullets allegedly hit both brothers. His twin brother died instantly, while Kasie survived the shooting.
In a fresh incident on Saturday, May 9, 2026, Kasie said he went out with his distant cousin at the same location and they were intercepted by the same officers.
“They forcefully collected our motorcycle and phones and demanded ₦200,000,” Kasie claimed. The amount was later reduced to ₦10,000, but while he went to withdraw money, his cousin was allegedly asked to pay ₦20,000. The situation escalated when the officers discovered the cousin trying to record them. Kasie alleged that the officers assaulted them, raised the demand back to ₦200,000, and eventually collected ₦170,000 before formatting their phones.
Kasie, who has been vocal about police extortion in Anambra, noted that this particular case stood out due to its severity.
“Most times, whenever I receive reports of police extortion… I contact the officers and they usually refund the money. But this particular case is different, and I will post it on social media because it is terrible. These officers in Ogidi have allegedly caused a lot of harm,” he stated.
The Anambra State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the allegations as of Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

#BREAKING | White House Unveils Updated National Security Strategy
The Trump Administration today released an updated U.S. National Security Strategy, declaring the end of America's unilateral stewardship of the global order. "The era of the United States carrying the global order alone is over," the document states, emphasizing a shift toward burden-sharing with allies.
In a Europe-focused section, the strategy highlights Europe's "overwhelming hard-power advantages" over Russia excluding nuclear capabilities—and the irreparable rupture in EU-Russia relations due to the Ukraine war. It calls for robust U.S. involvement to manage post-conflict stability, avert escalation, and support Ukraine's recovery, while criticizing European dependencies (e.g., Germany's energy vulnerabilities) and unrealistic expectations of U.S. support under fragile EU coalitions.

Good evening, conscious ladies and gentlemen. Great Biafrans and lovers of freedom.
I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your kind words, genuine concern, and unwavering support during my recent major surgery.
I appreciate all the birthday wishes and prayers, too. Thank you!
You see, life as they say is wealth, the main thing, the purpose. But I will also put it that good health is the pillar of life.
Ndu bu ịsị ma na ahu ike bu ngalaba ịsị ndu.
And when a conscious man is faced with death, he wants to know if there was some purpose to his life.
And I hope you have found your purpose.
For years, I have walked through the dark paths of life imbued in pain and grief. But by awakening and self individuation, I have emerged, bearing the mirror that shows the true meaning of this darkness and the light that overcomes it. That is my purpose, and I will live every day of my life exercising it in my steps.
Your thoughtful messages, calls, and visits truly lifted my spirits and gave me the strength to focus on my recovery. Today is exactly 6 weeks post-surgery, and I am taking my recovery one step at a time. Exactly 1 week post-surgery, I survived what is called pulmonary embolism. God, in his infinite mercy, saw me through by sustaining me (having been alone with no one looking after me) until I got help.
Knowing that so many people were thinking of me and wishing me a speedy recovery made a world of difference. Your encouragement helped make a challenging time far more bearable, and I am deeply touched by your kindness and care.
Thank you once again for being there for me. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful group of people and family in my life.
By – Family, I mean my brothers and sisters who share the same bonds formed through shared hardship, loyalty, and chosen commitment - that is the true meaning of 'blood is thicker than water. Not by the connection of the water of the womb but by the blood of the covenant.
Nnabuikem is also doing a very good job in looking after me. He has exceeded my expectations far more than I could have ever imagined.
Before I go, I would want to encourage us on the journey to freedom and transformation, which is rarely a straight path. It is often marked by challenges, setbacks, and obstacles that test the resolve of even the most passionate person or communities.
For us, the quest for self-determination and liberty remains a beacon of hope and a cause worth pursuing with unwavering commitment. In such times, it is essential to remind ourselves of the importance of remaining steadfast and the great advantages that consistency brings to our collective movement.
I wish you all peace!
Udo!
