In April, we crowned Kaebi as the winner of Gobe Music Championship and paid out ₦100,000.

No big sponsors.
No massive team.
Just a mission to create opportunities for young talents before the world discovers them.

Then we have Kaebi, the only female artist out of 16, who battle against Skenzie in the final.

According to votes and judges score, She won.

Had a session with her and got to know she never had any single/track to herself.

From being the only female artist amongst others and freestyling under pressure to officially recording her first ever single.

This is a proud moment for us.

16 artists were then grouped into 4

We took them through group stage performance, quarter final, semi final and final.

Some couldn't handle pressure and withdraw.

Everything happened on TikTok and it took us about 2 months.

Students living off campus are spending far more than they should on transport daily.

Even from the closest bus stop, which is “Chips”, the fare to OOU is at least ₦400 one way. That’s ₦800 to and fro, every single day. 1/2

My event was originally scheduled for June 4th but was moved to June 10th. I didn't know SoundCity x Bigi event was same date.

Out of 16 registered artists, 10 showed up. The rest ended up perfoming at SoundCity instead.
