“Here we go again” and yet you couldn’t get through one paragraph without misrepresenting what Mount Zion actually does. Let me help.
MZ doesn’t demonize Yoruba culture. It celebrates it; the colors, the language, the proverbs, the royalty. Eg. Abejoye became a born-again Christian while still speaking deep Yoruba, bowing before his king, and dropping proverbs that’ll make your grandfather nod. Nobody took his culture. The Gospel just took the throne in his heart.
You framed this as “Yoruba spirituality vs foreign religion.” We never did. We frame it as Light vs Darkness and Darkness has no nationality. We’ve called it out in boardrooms, cities, and yes, in the villages. Location doesn’t exempt it.
“Profiting from portrayals” MZ has 200+ films. Less than 30% are traditional settings. Your entire argument is built on a minority of the catalog, filtered through a lens of cultural grievance. That’s not analysis, that’s a feeling dressed up as a fact.
People are asking questions? Good. Watch the films. The full ones. From start to finish.
AGBARA NLA drops OCT 1. 🔥 The name of Jesus is still above every other name, in 1993 and in 2026.
THIS IS WHY I STARTED. .
I am a product of a grassroots coach. Someone who showed up for me with no resources, no recognition, just pure belief that I could become something great.
And I did. By God’s grace, I play for @PSG_Feminines and I captain the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
But as my career grew, I started to notice something that broke my heart.
The coaches doing this work every single day across Nigeria on grassroots pitches, in communities, with barely any resources, no one is investing in them.
No certificate. No formal training. No support. Just passion. Just love for the game.
So I made a decision.
I started the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation NIS Coaching Education Scholarship because I believe that if you invest in the coach, you invest in every single player they will ever coach for the rest of their career and for the rest of their lives.
Behind every great Nigerian athlete is a coach who believed in them first.
Let us invest in those coaches.
If you believe what I believe that Nigerian sport changes from the ground up, not the top down, share this. Invest in this. Be a part of this.

WE WILL NOT BE SILENT
A Celebration of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye
There comes a time when silence becomes ingratitude.
There comes a time when honour becomes a sacred duty.
There comes a time when sons and daughters must rise to celebrate the gifts that God has given to a generation.
This is such a time.
We refuse to be silent while men and women of eternal significance are reduced to headlines, controversies, and social media trends.
We refuse to stand by while those who have sacrificed decades in service to God and humanity are casually criticized by people who have built nothing, fathered nobody, planted no churches, and transformed no nations.
The sons and daughters of prophets must never be silent while cheap publicity seekers use great men as instruments for attention.
A generation that does not honour its fathers has no future.
A people who cannot recognize greatness in their midst will eventually suffer the tragedy of its absence.
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is not merely a church leader.
He is not merely a denomination head.
He is not merely a respected minister.
He is one of the most significant Christian leaders of our generation and one of the greatest spiritual gifts God has given to Africa and the global Church.
We should never allow a man who chose humility to become the chewing stick of the uninformed.
We should never permit the noise of critics to drown out the voice of history.
We should never watch while modern-day Sauls seek to intimidate, discredit, or silence God's servants.
Scripture records how King Saul pursued David.
Scripture records how Doeg the Edomite became an instrument of destruction against the priests of God.
Throughout history, political power has often sought to suppress prophetic voices.
Yet God has always preserved His servants and vindicated His purpose.
The Church must never become indifferent when its fathers are unfairly attacked.
Nor should we wait until our prophets cross into eternity before we begin to celebrate them.
Too often, flowers are sent to funerals when they should have been delivered while the recipient was still alive.
As Christians in the northern part of Nigeria are being killed for their faith, may we who don’t know that reality never stop speaking and raising our voices, may we never stop praying for their strength, their safety, their courage and their broken hearts. May we never stop giving to those who need it the most. May we become our brother’s keepers. #MyBrothersKeeper
This video is so so sad to watch.
Yet the criminal crooks behind this madness described in this video are parasitic tyrannical pretenders who have somehow successfully convinced their idiotic sycophants that they are patriots.
What a shame. A whole shame.
Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply
During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.”
When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans.
In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it.
Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
@aproko_doctor Wqs reading this carefully expecting a direct debunking or full assurance to Nigerians that the theory posed by the accuser is false.
Or even a show of confidence by showing us how you yourself have taken the injection.
But no. Just another Wale Adenuga production
I think it’s important to draw a clear line here.
Mount Zion Faith Ministries does not antagonize culture. If it did, you wouldn’t see films where characters like Abejoye proudly speak Yoruba, wear Yoruba attire, use indigenous names, and celebrate African identity with confidence and dignity.
What Mount Zion addresses is not culture, it is spiritual allegiance.
There is a difference between:
-Language, fashion, music, proverbs, and community values (culture)
and
-The worship of other deities and spiritual practices that contradict Christian convictions.
As Christians, our worldview is shaped by Scripture. So when Mount Zion speaks against the worship of other gods or practices considered spiritually harmful, it is not attacking ethnicity or heritage, it is expressing a theological position.
You can appreciate Yoruba language and aesthetics, and still reject the worship of deities like Yemoja based on your faith. That’s not cultural hostility, that’s religious consistency.
We must be mature enough to separate cultural expression from spiritual doctrine.
Respecting people does not mean compromising beliefs.
