@Robot_Gigg1es & don’t shoot RAW unless you want the burden of editing. But RAW is pretty great.
OH! And don’t forget your memory card and charge your batteries!! 😂 2/2
@Robot_Gigg1es Don’t let people shame you out of using auto.
But if you’re feeling adventurous, I liked shooting aperture priority (Av). Set aperture low if you want the bg blurrier. Don’t let ISO get too high (you can also manually set this in Av mode I think). 1/2
@ugotrokkd @ChrispyCHL @vxLeNz_@jdenrosi@JaggedCloud I really advocate renting anything before buying. Try before you buy. :)
I use @Lensrentals every time but there are a bunch of others, maybe even some local to you.
@ugotrokkd @ChrispyCHL @vxLeNz_@jdenrosi@JaggedCloud Solid advice and I agree with everything.
I love my A7iii. :) Just going to add that I got it (& all my lenses except 1) open box from Best Buy. Open box/used is the way to go. Camera body and a good prime lens to start with (50 or 35mm depending on your style).
@CaptainsBrand@CookieDoughlite Splurge in a few places and cut back on others. Like you don’t need anything elaborate for cocktail hour. Splurge on your bouquet and his boutonnière. Do something simple for the wedding party. If aesthetics is your goal, have enough for your photographer to work with.
@CookieDoughlite You wanted a spring-colored wedding right? I’ve been loving these colors. Keep linens and details a nice muted color like dusty blue or blush, and add in pops of color with florals, candles, other details. Can also recommend looking up weddings done at your venue
