As I stand where I am today, almost clear of the pain you caused me. I’ve turned from this scared caterpillar into a vibrant butterfly. I wish you could see how happy I am when I’m with the person I love. I hope you realize I never smiled much when I “loved” you. 💕

Yesterday I got my hair done. And as I was sitting there, the words you used to say fill my head. “If you dye it like that you’ll look ugly.” Or “those nose piercings you want will make no one love you.” And those words stuck with me the last 3 years.
