@poco4loco @22_ghand @josephMuztich Al-Fātiḥah is Allah’s words. Proof? Sahih Muslim (395) says Allah replies when we recite it: ‘This is between Me and My servant.’ The Qur’an often shifts style, direct speech, ‘say,’ or du‘ā He teaches us. So 1:5 is Allah teaching us how to speak to Him.

There are different models of expression including guided ones like your example, second person and first person ones. It’s a well known fact in Arabic and Islam
