really hate how privileged people think that if you cannot access a book legally then you don't get to read. you who lives in a first world country and can afford several books a week without ever thinking if you'll be able to feed a family or not shouldn't have a say in that idk
If you can’t afford my book please dm I’d love to send you an e-book and if it’s in my possibility, a physical copy in exchange of a review ❤️ (also if there’s a book in particular you’d like to read let me buy the e-format for you)
the z-lib discourse is tiring, y’all love to call it out because authors aren’t getting paid but people are not getting paid enough to fucking survive in society, i’m sure people like Colleen Hoover can afford to lose a few dollars on a multi-million dollar book
openly communicating with you is a bare minimum.
you deserve someone who's emotionally matured enough to have an honest conversation with you, so you both can make things work out. so you can know if both of you are on the same page. +
i just wanna make something clear for the americans who have never lived in a 3rd world country. books cost $50 or more, and there’s not even a wide variety? its mostly harry potter and that’s it haha. we don’t have public libraries either. and the minimum wage is $360/month.
