Teaching financial responsibility is a gift that lasts far longer than money

[Owen @Owennfa]

I told my daughter she could move back in after college, but it had to be like a real lease, no family discount.

$550 a month for two years straight. Paid on time every single time, no complaints.

She signed on her own apartment last month.

I showed up the day she moved in with an envelope. Every dollar she'd paid me, $13,200, plus some extra I'd been setting aside without telling her.

She just stood in the doorway staring at it before she could say anything.

I was never collecting rent. I was teaching her what a monthly payment actually feels like, and handing her the down payment on her own independence the second she was ready to use it.

🚨 BREAKING: The White House just told middle-class Americans exactly where their paychecks have been going, and it's infuriating.

From the podium: "If you're a middle class taxpayer in this country, before President Trump came along, you spent half your working life paying for fraudsters and scammers."

Think about that. You paid every parking ticket and did everything the right way. Meanwhile, fake day cares billed for kids who didn't exist, and the crooks bought Mercedes, BMWs and mansions on your dime.

The administration says it's already recovered a quarter of a trillion dollars and is aiming for a trillion.

The looting is over. Time to take it all back.

Something is happening in Minnesota right now. There is a heavy presence of national media here, starting over the last 48 hours.

Something’s coming.

My wife texted me:

Her: "Are you watching that new documentary about the Ponzi scheme billionaire?"

Me: "Yeah, the feds just showed up at his Hamptons estate."

Her: "Pause at 44:12."

Me: "Okay. FBI agents are hauling out boxes of confiscated assets."

Her: "Look past the agents toward the outdoor patio."

Me: "Near the infinity pool?"

Her: "See that gas fire pit surrounded by the dark basalt gravel?"

Me: "Yeah..."

Her: "Take a screenshot. That’s what we’re doing with the backyard."

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump declares France must IMMEDIATELY shut its border "before it is too late" after devastating, violent riots

"France is burning! The immigration of people from an entirely different world, people with hatred in their hearts, has shattered that once great country. Close your Borders and take control, before it is too late! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

He's spot on 🇺🇸

Don't call it anything but what it is: MASS MIGRATION-induced riots and violence. This would not be happening if France got smart like Poland!

A night out with my favorite girl 🥂❤️

🚨WOW!!!

A 5-year-old boy saw his grandma collapse on the floor and not get up...

...so he took his 3-year-old little sister by the hand, ran down a gravel road looking for help, flagged down a truck, and SAVED HIS NANA’S LIFE!!!

His name is Hudson Tenn, he’s FIVE years old, from Cottrellville Township, Michigan.

This past summer, Hudson and his little sister Harper were home with their grandma, Terri.

...then something went terribly wrong.

Hudson: “Nana was shaking honestly and then she fell down and didn’t get back up.”

She was unconscious.

So, what did a 5-year-old do in that moment?

Hudson went looking for Nana’s car keys... so he could DRIVE for help. 😂

“I tried getting the keys to take her car but couldn’t find them so I ran down the street.”

So he grabbed his little sister and headed out, the two of them walked down a gravel road, almost straight through the woods.

That’s when neighbors Jason Markel and his son Colton spotted them and pulled over.

Before Hudson flagged them down, he made sure his 3-year-old sister was SAFE first.

Colton: “When he flagged us down he put his sister on the side of the road first!”

FIVE. YEARS. OLD.

The Markels called 911 right away and hudson climbed in the truck and directed them straight back to the house.

Jason looked through the door and saw Terri lying on the floor, unconscious.

Then St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies arrived. One of the family dogs was crouched over Terri, protecting her, so deputies had to safely move the dog to another room before EMS could get to work.

Terri was rushed to the hospital and I'm happy to say that today she is OKAY!!! ❤️

Jason says he doesn’t know what would have happened if those kids had to walk all the way to the main road.

Terri knows exactly who to thank.

“I think it was all God. He put the right people there at the right time.”

And about her grandson?

“He’s my hero, what 5-year-old would’ve thought to do what he did? And he did!”

On Wednesday, township officials and the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office presented Hudson with an AWARD FOR BRAVERY.

GOD BLESS Hudson Tenn and GOD BLESS the Markels.

I will admit, I thought the Roadster hype was excessive and claims that it will "fly" absurd. At best I thought we'd see a very fast car that might achieve some sort of temporary lift at a high speed.

But my brain can't even process what I witnessed.

🚨 BREAKING: At least 10 HOMES are now ENGULFED in San Clemente, California as wildfires spark in multiple areas of Southern California

[Matt Van Swol @mattvanswol]

🚨WOW!!!

An 18-year-old saw an 80-year-old man with a walker crossing a busy Arizona road in shoes that were FALLING APART...

...so he pulled over, took the shoes OFF HIS OWN FEET, and gave them to him!!!

He found out the man had just lost his wife, bought him dinner, sat with him for hours, invited him to church, raised him $10,000 and now they talk on the phone EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!

“I just felt like God told me to go over there.”

His name is Jordan Hope.

He’s a recent high school graduate from Maricopa, Arizona who runs his own computer-building business.

He was on his way to the bank to deposit some money when he drove past a Walgreens on John Wayne Parkway.

Then he saw the man’s feet.

“His shoes were like maybe a fourth on his foot.”

So Jordan pulled over, got out, and took off his own size 13 Nike slides and he handed them over and stood there in the road in his socks.

“I just felt like God told me to go over there.”

He had NO IDEA a woman named Yareli Madrid was filming the whole thing from the parking lot.

He drove off, but something told him to turn back.

He found the man inside the Walgreens, helped him pick up his prescription, and bought him his favorite candy.

Peanut M&Ms.

Jordan took time to speak to the man and that’s when Jordan learned the man’s wife had passed away just TWO WEEKS earlier.

“That honestly broke my heart.”

The older man's name is Roy, he’s 80 years old.

Jordan offered to take him to lunch at Culver’s, but a medical condition makes Roy’s legs swell so badly he couldn’t get into Jordan’s car.

So Jordan called him a rideshare and met him at the restaurant, they picked up the food, followed him ALL THE WAY HOME.

...and then he stayed, just to talk.

“So he didn’t feel that loneliness, you know?”

Someone posted the video trying to find out who this young man was, with a message for his parents:

“If this is your son, you did something right.”

Now Jordan calls Roy EVERY SINGLE DAY to check on him and a GoFundMe for Mr. Roy has already raised over $10,000+ for groceries and expenses.

The two of them are even talking about going to church together. ❤️

Jordan says this wasn’t his plan, he says God “interrupted my plans for that day to carry on his plans.”

He’s EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD.

GOD BLESS Jordan Hope, and GOD BLESS Mr. Roy.

Trump, here we go again!

“Our new Greenland”?

Greenland is NOT yours. It never was, and it never will be.

The United States has no authority to decide whether, when, or how our oil, gas, or minerals are explored or extracted. Those decisions belong to Greenland!

Greenland belongs to the Greenlandic people. Our future is ours to decide!

Our democracy, and our right to self-determination must be respected!

[Derrick Evans @DerrickEvans4WV]

I normally wouldn’t care what other countries do, but this one is right on our northern border.

We all see what’s happening in Europe.

This is definitely something Americans should keep an eye on.

[Eric Daugherty @EricLDaugh]

🚨 JUST IN OVERNIGHT: President Trump declares that MAJOR oil, gas and mineral exploration will commence in Greenland 🇬🇱 🇺🇸

HE DID IT.

“There are Experts that are saying that the amount of easily available Oil is far greater than that of almost any land, anywhere in the World and, even more importantly, from a Security Purpose in the Defense and Offense of both the United States of America, and Europe, is second to none.”

“Any future attack on the United States will have to come across Greenland, where our Defense will routinely knock down drones, missiles, or any other form of weapon not yet even conceived.”

“It gives us time, location, and sightline, like nowhere else in the World! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP”

This is why we needed Greenland

Trump signed the deal with Greenland and Denmark to make it official at the UNGA 👏🏻
