Proud of this team and of all the work we’ve done. 🙏🏿
We all wanted more, but seeing the whole country come together again to give strength to the @GhanaBlackstars has been truly special.
From the heart, thank you Ghana. 🇬🇭 We’ll come back. ❤️
@princetora colombia have kept 3 clean sheets in last 5 matches. conceded just 2 goals in that run. ghana have only scored 2 goals in 3 world cup games. this is a mismatch. greenbet on colombia to win to nil. betting sites not paying is common but this one paid
I couldn’t care less about soccer, but as a true native French I hope we loose, to silence all the relentless immigration advocates who use every victory to promote a multicultural France.
I’d trade every World Cup won by this team for a charter flight to Africa.
Mr. President,
The majority of citizens voted for you to ensure good governance. Please uphold the rule of law without giving in to emotional pressure from those who disregard it. This is the time for firm, decisive, and impartial action. Let justice prevail.
Pleaseeeeeeeeeee
The amount of rainfall recorded today is among the highest experienced in several years. Preliminary data indicates that approximately 140 millimetres of rain fell on Accra. By comparison, the highest single-day rainfall recorded last year was about 56 millimetres.
That aspect of the problem is beyond our control because it is driven by changing climatic conditions. There is the issue of human behaviour.
Whenever government begins removing structures built in waterways, some people accuse us of being inhumane. Yet when disasters such as today's flooding occur, the consequences affect everyone. The irresponsible actions of a few individuals end up putting entire communities at risk.
Heartbreaking footage has emerged showing residents looking on helplessly as floodwaters swept away a man inside his wooden kiosk, with no immediate means of rescuing him.
This morning, we take you to the Suame Interchange, where work is progressing steadily and impressively.
Rango Construction is operating both day and night shifts to ensure the timely delivery of the first phase of the flyovers. Every passing day brings us closer to a modern transport system that will significantly improve mobility, reduce travel time, and enhance economic activity in the Greater Kumasi area.
We commend H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for his bold infrastructure agenda and express our appreciation to the Hon. Minister for Roads and Highways for the strong leadership and supervision driving this important national project.
The work continues, and so does our commitment to delivering quality infrastructure for the people of Ashanti and Ghana.

We understand the concerns from those who didn't receive our weather updates before the rains, and we truly appreciate the feedback.
For clarity, the rainfall was highlighted in our weekly forecast issued on Monday, 22nd June, 2026, reiterated in our subsequent updates, and again in this morning's weather bulletin. We know, however, that not everyone sees every post, and we understand how frustrating that can be.
Our thoughts and well wishes are with everyone who has been severely impacted by the floods. We hope those affected remain safe, and we wish a speedy recovery and restoration for all the communities experiencing the effects of the heavy rains.
To make sure you don't miss important weather alerts in the future, please turn on post notifications for our page. That way, you'll receive our forecasts and updates as soon as they're published.
We'll continue working hard to keep you informed and prepared. Stay safe.
The local government needs to be sued regarding sanitation, flooding, and the state of our streets.
We cannot continue to complain. We must do something about the mess.
The masses will continue to vote regardless. But society doesn't change when we wait for the masses to become conscious.
The few must do something.
Why not send one time alert to citizens mobile to alert them?
We have no country and this is ours
Take bold decisions that will safeguard the safety of the citizens and everyone
Dear Countrymen and women,
Please stay safe and sit tight. Call the emergency numbers if you need help. Kindly refrain from prank calls as we need the lines free to respond to emergencies.
Please stay at home and stay off the roads. We need the roads free for emergency services. 🦁🇬🇭
Every year I say the same thing. Every year I get bashed. But I will say it anyway:
The democracy you people are practising (where every problem cannot be solved unless we take everyone's opinion and "rights") will not allow us to solve big ticket problems like the annual floods. You know it. I know it. Question is: are we willing to break protocol and fix it and damned the consequences?
We have town and country planning department in the various MMDC’s yet look at the layout here?
We are wasting tax payers money for no job done. They sit in the offices or just write on building “Stop Work Produce Permit”
Shame

When they start demolishing, I don’t want to hear pim!
We all watched the videos of the Greater Accra Regional Minister going around, and people were screaming, cursing and resisting the exercise.
But we also need to hold the institutions responsible accountable. Their job is to ensure people don’t build in waterways and other prohibited areas in the first place.
There’s no way entire structures should go up without anyone noticing until it’s suddenly “too late.” If enforcement had happened when the first block was laid, many of these demolitions wouldn’t be necessary today.
This problem won’t go away until we take a serious stand on doing what’s right!
And it starts with the institutions that standby and watch things get this far.
