Could have been, but not with substantial fiscal deficits that crowd out the private sector. Companies need to either be able to save money or have access to affordable capital to produce, but they can't because banks pay nothing on deposits and they lend to the U.S. government and Federal Reserve instead of the private sector. Trump is an idiot. He has no clue.
