Being called "sons of God" signifies a special relationship w/ God, characterized by intimacy & inheritance. A "son" implied sharing the character/mission of the father. Thus, peacemakers are recognized as reflecting God's character & are granted the honor of being His family.

@CollinRugg I was in communist China in 2007. You could find homeless people everywhere. Came back right after the 2008 Olympics and realized that they had mysteriously disappeared. Where did they go? No one knew. I thought this could never happen in America. I was wrong... communism is here
God's plan to slay "goliaths" is to use loyal, humble men who are faithful with small tasks. After killing the giant and becoming a national hero, David tried to go back home to take care of his dad's sheep but Saul would not let him. (1 Sam 18:2)
A society becoming increasingly demonized looks like King Saul: at first it was words against the one after God's heart, then policies against him, then spears...
In meekness they will braid whips and drive out the circus show of church. They will overturn tables of exaggeration and "celebrity Christianity". A nameless and faceless army will make God's house a true House of Prayer.

Hilarious!!! For about 4 hrs at the Asbury Revival, Becca and I got to be on stage supporting Gen Zers leading worship. She sang and I played cajon.
One Gen Z worship leader, after EVERY song he played, would completely stop cold turkey for about one minute..
At one point he told us "A little quiet never hurt anyone." ๐๐๐ These kids have no showmanship whatsoever! ๐คฏ None!!! I am stunned!
I am convinced that in one of the darkest, most self-absorbed times of human history...God is raising up Gen Zers who are marked with humility.
"I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth..." (2 John 1:4) Grace, grace to lead like our Father who delights in the remnant "some" and does not overlook them to dwell in discouragement over the compromised.
In the Book of Acts, all mission trips start in Jerusalem and return to Jerusalem. The book ends with a cliff hanger: the eighth and last mission was Paul's trip to Rome...it has yet to return...but it will...
