@Ryoncuh@dank_0_@c0ladas@StyriaVC@MathensFC@M_a_t_tC That’s people making only 1 million or higher, not the ultra rich. And to my understanding that’s the tax rate, not the overall amount taken in. Otherwise the chart totals substantially more than 100%.
@MathensFC@Ryoncuh@dank_0_@c0ladas@StyriaVC@M_a_t_tC I promise the net on the sale is more than any of us will ever even come close to in our lifetimes and they don’t pay near their fair share on it back into the system. The truth is they should be paying much more SOMEWHERE from their assets. This pure lobbying on the 1%’s part.
@MathensFC@Ryoncuh@dank_0_@c0ladas@StyriaVC@M_a_t_tC Then you’re sort of proving the point that rich people in our current system do NOT pay their fair share of tax and that these percentages are in essence meaningless unless our tax system changes to add more burden to the rich in some tangible way.
@Ryoncuh@dank_0_@c0ladas@StyriaVC@MathensFC@M_a_t_tC What people ignore is many rich people don’t have much traditional income and thus many of the percentages you see don’t apply to them as their actual income compared to investments and holdings is very low.
@BToxic88 @morganmcmichael Notice how you’re the one who named her! It’s not just one person who accused her anyways, it’s seven (!!!) separate people!
