@afilina What I hear is the continuous deployment or the pipeline to get code out with low risk does not exist. Generic and is DevOps as culture and treat release engineering as code problem not, process.Waitinv queues are the worst offenders in efficiency management.
@mstine Because it gives some false sense of security to traditional management, and estimated time is better-perceived psychology by the human brain over saying it will be done when it's done. Estimates are as good as rolling dice.
@Der_Pesse @johncutlefish Often that is the case. Sometimes the delight is lost when you do it as work over on the side or help someone out in that particular area.
@johncutlefish Data-informed is a better way. There is always a narrative behind the data. As long the data has quality and has context to it. It helps to improve decision quality while solving type 2 problems.
"Data without context is vain."
@allenholub I can get with not having a format, as long we come up with actionable items. Sadly, I have seen enough rétros turning into venting or blaming sessions without any actionable item. Which is a shame. Retros without format is acceptable not without outcomes.
@ianharveyOT Yes because we have folks who waterfall and coaching few teams to get into some agile/lean way of working rather adhoc. That is the reason with frequency being a little high.
