Many on social media have asked how I became a part of Team Dhurandhar as a Research Consultant. Aditya Dhar has been a friend for many years even before the earth-shattering Uri project had begun. To cut the long story short, here we go.

In March 2022, a highly placed source tipped me off about the mysterious killing of a man named Zahid Akhund in Karachi. I was told it was a major development, but given no further details. It took me two days to establish that Zahid Akhund was, in fact, Zahoor Mistry also known as Bhola one of the hijackers of the IC-814 aircraft. Nearly twenty-three years after the hijacking, he had been killed at point-blank range. The Pakistani ISI had instructed the local media not to report the incident. The killing itself was carried out by two bike-borne men from a local Karachi gang. I broke this story in Indian Media and entire national media followed my reporting. Later I investigated this further and made a documentary on this killing. The rest, as they say, is history.

Around this time, Aditya Dhar was already working on his film’s storyboard. When he approached me, one conversation led to another and that’s how I came on board. As did my highly-placed source. Rest is classified information.

Aur bass, ezsnippet apna account wapas access kar sakta hai.

So it’s worth reaching out to Instagram through the proper channels. They might be able to guide you or help restore the account if everything falls within fair use policies

Ranveer Singh is the most complete actor of his generation. The man is in a league of his own. We are so distracted by how over the top he appears in public that we overlook the artist with an almost frightening instinct for transformation.

We have to talk about this. It is long overdue because I genuinely do not know what he might do next in his real life that will once again push his acting ability into the background.

The technicality with which he embodies every character, the way he disappears into roles and suppresses his hyper energetic personality according to the demands of each performance is genius. He is the only actor right now who completely transforms his dialect, voice modulation, physicality, persona and overall presence in every film.

His roles demonstrate a rare synthesis of linguistic adaptation, physical embodiment and socio cultural intelligence. Murad. Jayesh. Kapil. Bajirao. Khilji. Ram. Bittoo. Varun. Rocky. Sangram. Kabir. And now Jaskirat. Each performance is not mimicry but ethnography. He studies the organism of a culture and reconfigures himself to inhabit it.

And this is across roles where he has gone bald, grown heavy beards, long hair, moustaches, changed weight and still manages to sell every look with conviction. There is almost no identity he cannot inhabit and that is the clearest testament to the fact that this man has no limitation in his acting range.

Watching him in Dhurandhar reminded me that versatility is not a compliment you hand out casually. It is a craft that demands discipline, sensitivity and the courage to disappear.

And he is the king of it.

I am seated for Dhurandhar 2 because we are watching one of the greatest actors of this generation in real time.

so, netflix had a massive fight with ISPs around 2014-2016. ISPs were slowing down netflix on purpose. they wanted more money from netflix

customers got bad streaming. but ISPs just blamed netflix.

netflix had to pay comcast, verizon, at&t and time warner for direct connections to their networks.

but in 2016, they launched fast dot com, clever part - It's not testing your general internet speed. It's testing your speed to netflix's servers specifically. so when someone complained about buffering, netflix could say "run fast dot com." If it's slow, the ISP is the bottleneck.

suddenly millions of people had a tool to prove their ISP was the problem
ISPs couldn't hide anymore.

netflix positioned themselves as the transparent good guys fighting for customers while ISPs looked like greedy monopolies

they solved a pr problem and a customer service problem with one simple website
