Just reached Ace’s introduction with my gf and I’m gonna show her how he looks in current One Piece style to slowly start planting the seeds in her head that will manipulate her into having no reason to believe he will ever die, making Marineford all the worse #malemanipulator
Dear all, I am speaking on something that happened yesterday in Poznan, which highlights a massive flaw in our sport
There are three distinct points I want to raise regarding this incident:
1) I was playing a point, where I ran towards the ball, which was clearly out - as (1/n)
How is it not a bigger deal that US strikes have claimed 3 Indian lives? How's there no reciprocation at all? Or even an outrage by so many who claim to be nationalists? Where's our spine gone really?
How did LIC end up buying 10% stake in a relatively new company like Rajesh Exports which is caught with Rs.15 lakh crore of fake revenues. LIC normally invests only in large companies with a long track record. Was LIC influenced by the powers? This question will not go away.
In Norway, when foreign leaders visit. The press usually will get to ask questions. Not many, but a few. That was not the case today with Modi, and will not be tomorrow either.
Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to.
Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba.
It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.
In peak India moment today, I got scolded by an uncle on bike for walking on the footpath during traffic hours. He said and I quote, “pagal hai kya be, footpath koi chalne ki jagah hai?”
Decided to be a good citizen. Inspired by PM’s call for austerity, left the car at home.
Auto to the Metro station: ₹30. Metro ticket: ₹30. Feeder bus for the last stretch: ₹20. Total one way: ₹80. Return journey: another ₹80. Grand daily total: ₹160.
My car gives 14 kilometres to a litre. Office is 7 kilometres from home. Roughly ₹100 a day, door to door, including the petrol and the quiet dignity of arriving without fuss.
Public transport, in other words, costs me ₹60 more than driving myself. Per day. In a city with a functioning Metro.
This is what we call last-mile connectivity gap — the small, unglamorous gap between the grand infrastructure and your actual front door. Austerity, apparently, is for the commuter alone. The PM travels by motorcade. The last I checked.
If @narendramodi is urging Indians to work from home to conserve fuel then his government should pass an order directing companies to allow work from home for a year. What does he mean by urging people to work from home? Does he think this decision is at the people’s discretion?
Big mistake I made — buying your car, @Toyota_India. You shared my phone number with several insurance companies, and now all I do is answer endless sales calls while trying to remain polite, because I know there’s no point screaming at or insulting your underpaid and exploited employees.
Don’t you make enough profit selling cars already? Why sell your customers’ data too?
