@HelleLyngSvends Reeks of desperation.. He's doing anything to absolve himself and his team of any responsibility, passing the buck and giving the culprits a 'clean chit'. I hope people don't fall for it.
@shivaXdrives All that is nice and good, but the main issue is the clutch delay valve sitting in each of the slave cylinders. Works great in EU, but in our traffic conditions, delays engagement and burns the clutch out.
@ashwindurai_@jsensarma@Mr__Quickdraw so you necessarily don't need to be doing WOT for high load scenarios. You could just be rolling in bumper to bumper traffic, with a 1.0L engine mated to a massive ac compressor, that will add more load than ur fuel pump can take thanks to cheap parts.
@ashwindurai_@jsensarma@Mr__Quickdraw my own i20 is hardly abused, it was my fun office commute car in gurgaon bumper to bumper traffic. Pump too died in bumper to bumper traffic.

Fuel adultration was always there, the engineering head room of cars was covering that up to a certain extent. E20 pushed that headroom to its limits and pumps began failing. E20 exposed what we accepted as normal.
@ashwindurai_@jsensarma@Mr__Quickdraw This gets further complicated when Manav runs 95 Ron fuel on a min 98 ron car. The car will sense that and run rich, and use up some of the ~20% spare capacity on the pump at full load. Add E20 which adds ~ 8-9% more load, and eventually the pump will go buh buyeee...
@ashwindurai_@jsensarma@Mr__Quickdraw Most mfgs want to save cost, and putting a 800lph pump in every car 1.0L is quite expensive. So they go by best estimates by engineers overruled by bean counters who accept that risk. It goes right in most cases, in Hyundai's case it went horribly wrong.
