নারী সুরক্ষায় তৎপর কলকাতা পুলিশ: দোরগোড়ায় ‘দুর্গা সুরক্ষা স্কোয়াড’

নারী নিরাপত্তা জোরদার করতে এবং সাধারণ মানুষের সঙ্গে নিবিড় সংযোগ গড়ে তুলতে এক বিশেষ উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করেছে কলকাতা পুলিশ। গতকাল ‘দুর্গা সুরক্ষা স্কোয়াড’-এর উদ্যোগে ভাঙ্গর ডিভিশনের অন্তর্গত মাধবপুর থানার বিভিন্ন এলাকায় বিশেষ টহলদারি চালানো হয়। এর পরপরই বাসন্তী হাইওয়ের পাগলাহাট ও বালিগাড়া ক্রসিংয়ে স্থানীয় বাসিন্দা, বিশেষত মহিলাদের নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে দুটি সচেতনতামূলক সভার আয়োজন করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন কলকাতা পুলিশের ঊর্ধ্বতন আধিকারিকরাসহ, সাইবার থানার প্রতিনিধি ও ‘দুর্গা সুরক্ষা স্কোয়াড’-এর সদস্যরা।

উক্ত সচেতনতামূলক সভায় আধিকারিকরা বর্তমান সময়ে ক্রমবর্ধমান সাইবার প্রতারণা এবং তা থেকে সুরক্ষিত থাকার বিভিন্ন কৌশল নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করেন। পাশাপাশি, যেকোনো বিপদে থানার ‘সাইবার হেল্প ডেস্ক’ ও ‘উইমেন হেল্প ডেস্ক’-এর পরিষেবা গ্রহণ এবং পুলিশের সঙ্গে নির্ভয়ে যোগাযোগ করার জন্য নারীদের উৎসাহিত করা হয়। কলকাতা পুলিশের মূল লক্ষ্য হলো নারী সুরক্ষা সুনিশ্চিত করা এবং দুষ্কৃতীদের আইনের আওতায় এনে সমাজকে সুরক্ষিত রাখা।

मैं CJP का समर्थन क्यों नहीं करती?

1. मैं ऐसे व्यक्ति की बात क्यों सुनूँ जो अमेरिका में रहता था और फिर भारत आकर लोगों से NEET पेपर लीक या युवाओं की बेरोज़गारी के मुद्दे पर जंतर-मंतर पर विरोध प्रदर्शन करने को कहता है?

2. भारत को दुनिया के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्रों में से एक माना जाता है; कोई बाहरी व्यक्ति यह नहीं बताएगा कि भारतीय लोकतंत्र को क्या करना चाहिए।

3. NEET पेपर लीक की बात करें तो हाँ, यह सिस्टम की एक बड़ी गलती है। इस पर बात करने के लिए मेरे पास कई प्लेटफॉर्म हैं, लेकिन मैं ऐसे किसी व्यक्ति का समर्थन नहीं
करूँगी जिसका विरोध प्रदर्शन राजनीति में बदल जाए।

4. शांतिपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शन छात्रों के लिए बुलाया गया था, तो फिर राजनेता इसमें क्यों शामिल हुए? राजनेताओं के पास अपना समर्थन जताने के लिए कई प्लेटफॉर्म होते हैं, लेकिन अब यह विरोध प्रदर्शन किसी और ही दिशा में जाता दिख रहा है।

5. कृपया जवाब दें कि केवल सोनम वांगचुक ही भूख हड़ताल पर क्यों बैठे थे, तथाकथित CJP के संस्थापक और उनके समर्थक क्यों नहीं?

Why do I not support the CJP?

1. Why should I listen to someone who lived in the US and then came to India to urge people to stage protests at Jantar Mantar over issues like the NEET paper leak or youth unemployment?

2. India is considered one of the world's largest democracies; no outsider should dictate what Indian democracy ought to do.

3. Regarding the NEET paper leak—yes, it is a major systemic failure. There are many platforms available to discuss this, but I will not support anyone whose protest turns into a political affair.

4. The protest was called for students; why, then, did politicians get involved? Politicians have numerous platforms to express their support, yet this protest now appears to be veering in a completely different direction.

5. Please explain why only Sonam Wangchuk went on a hunger strike, and not the founder of the so-called CJP and their supporters.
