Regrettably, at my alma mater, the National Law Institute University in Bhopal, the administration is currently organizing the Young Thinker's Conclave, scheduled for today and tomorrow. The Student Bar Association (SBA) has raised objections to the event. It is worth noting that in 2020, the same organization had approached students and some professors before the Madhya Pradesh elections with the intention of organizing a similar event, which was met with opposition. Back then, our consensus was that we should not allow a political party to promote its sectarian ideas under the guise of an intellectual conference, a sentiment shared by the student community.

Even today, numerous students have reached out to alumni, requesting that the event be halted. Their concerns revolve around the fact that all the invited speakers are known for their literature and work that are hateful, discriminatory and essentially to spread BJPs anti minority stand. As an alumnus, I join in opposing the dissemination of the BJP's political agenda within our esteemed university, which has a tradition of academic excellence.
