FUN FACT

Only two Louisianians have ever been nominated for Speaker of the House. Both represented the 1st Congressional District of Louisiana. Both are Roman Catholics. Both are Republicans. Both also withdrew, after being nominated, before their colleagues could vote on them.

Since the U.S. Constitution does not say that the Speaker has to be a current member of Congress, they should nominate @AsaHutchinson. He’s got integrity, has served in the U.S. House, and can work with all sides. Sadly no one will listen to reason but Hutchinson is a leader.
