Mourning bands have been worn for generations and are symbolic. I realize this doesn’t support the narrative you’re pushing, but in light of all that’s transpiring, spreading more misinformation isn’t beneficial to any cause.

They are wearing MOURNING BANDS as a symbol of respect for the fallen officers of COVID. All police officers wear these bands over their badges for 30 days following the death of an officer.
