Localization Update
Greetings, co-conspirators.
Today, we bring you the latest update for the official English, Spanish, and French localizations of Magical Girl Witch Trials that are currently underway.
First, the good news:
Aside from some editing work, the translation of the game's script is complete in all three languages, and we are preparing to move onto quality assurance/bug-testing, adaptation of the UI, and actually programming the script into the game.
As we mentioned before, though, Re,AER, the company that houses the creative brand Acacia, was not originally involved in video game development at all when work on Magical Girl Witch Trials began. As such, the size of our dedicated programmer team is extremely small. While we're sure many are used to having localizations released without much wait, we kindly ask that you understand that we are working our hardest to release the new languages to you all while also ensuring that the quality is top-class.
The translation teams have worked directly with the original production team in order to create the best localization possible--one that will make you feel the worst.
We will update you as soon as we know when the release is scheduled for.
As a sign of our gratitude for your patience, we would like to show you a screenshot from the English, French, and Spanish versions. Please note that these screenshots are from an in-development build, and might differ from the final product.
Hope to torture you soon,
Acacia
