@SEARJW@PSETalk Would beg to differ that nothing happened. Over 100k people around the Seattle area lost power. To my knowledge majority of lines are not buried. That being said SCL seems to be more streamlined at getting areas back up than PSE.
@KSeattleWeather Definitely for Seattle we've had worse but also it's the first time I can recall being without power for over 24 hours. That may be more due to the widespread issues this time plus not sure how staffing is for SCL crews.
@SEACityLight Thank you for all you all are doing. Patiently waiting here in Maple Leaf. From what I could see the tree that went down on 15th and 102nd was still down at late afternoon today so hopefully that can be addressed soon to hopefully get power back on around here.
@SEACityLight Is there any estimate or update regarding getting power back online in maple leaf? Says crews have been dispatched but that was early this AM.
@NWSSeattle Seems we’ve had a lot of dense fog advisories lately. More so than I’ve ever seen. Is it just to do with the perfect “ingredients” to say the least?
@SEACityLight Thank you to the crews who are hard at work to get power back on for us all. Appreciate them being able to get the power back on much ahead of the estimated time.
@SEACityLight Any update on the power outage in the maple leaf area? The information hasn’t been updated for 4 hours. Appreciate all the hard work the crews are out there doing.
@KromanDavid Twist to this, that subaru is empty. Per the original poster I think someone hit that car and cause the chain reaction of parked cars crashing into one another.
@LynnanneNguyen@joncmlife@komonews Oh my goodness! Just why would you even try to stop a car from sliding on ice. It's not worth it. Glad that they are ok.
