Two Chicagoans and friends -- one Palestinian, one Jewish -- are running along the lakefront every day of the #DNC to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and the return of Israeli hostages.
NOW — 500+ Jewish people flood the U.S. Capitol singing
“Let Gaza live”
“Free Palestine”
“Not in our name”
“Stop genocide”
Demanding arms embargo to Israel, a ceasefire, and end to military aid to Israel.
As Chicago feels record breaking heat this week, we remind everyone that our store has air conditioning, water, a public restroom, free masks and comfortable places to sit for anyone who needs a break from the heat. Open 11-7, Mon-Fri! Stay cool and safe.
Dr. Jill Biden, the UN estimates that two mothers are killed every hour in Gaza. On this Mother’s Day, we call on you as mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers and as humans to use your voice and your power

I left Gaza with a broken heart and eyes filled with tears.
There was no other option after 108 days of continuous massacres against us.
It’s time to move somewhere else so I can do more work and I pray that I can be a reason to stop this war and help rebuild Gaza again.
I’ve arrived Qatar. Thank you
No time to rest
Keep calling for a ceasefire!
Violet Affleck was rebuked for wearing a crewneck with the image of a watermelon, a symbol of Palestinian solidarity. That criticism only helped the Chicago-based @WearThePeaceCo sell more shirts & raise more money for Gaza with @PiousProjects. My latest: https://t.co/gRMweaKiKE
100 days
Hundred days of losing, suffering, pain, fighting to survive and showing the RAW realities to the whole world.
With no lie, with no filters.
I showed the whole world the meaning of being Palestinian living in Gaza Strip.
I showed you how we love the life and how we love our beloved Gaza.
I showed the reality of the most brutal occupation ever.
No one will bring me back the people I lost and my mental health which actually was destroyed years before this war.
Free Palestine🇵🇸
In 2023 I decided to move back to Gaza from Turkey.
I shipped everything all the way from Turkey to Gaza. A week before the war I received all my shipments.
I remember my books, candles, and memories.
I feel so sad Israel bombed everything I own.
I am so sad 🥹
It’s day 66 and I don’t feel sad no more. I feel extremely raged and refuse to accept the slow dripping of our innocent blood, which is all in vain.
Maybe it’s the Palestinian rebel in me, in all of us in Gaza that allowed us to digest those 66 days.. No, YEARS.
....
Seeing her through my camera.
The @time selected my picture as One of the ten best pictures around the world for this year.
I just wished if it’s a picture of the beauty of Gaza not a painful picture from Gaza.
Anyway, Im proud about it!
Im proud to grow up and be one of the best in showing the true and powerful picture for the whole world
Reporting from Al-Nusairat refugee camp.
A residential tower was targeted by an Israeli air strike.
Many people were killed and injured including children and babies.
Civil defense workers are still trying to rescue people and extract bodies from under the rubble. Horrific scene as usual
No caption needed.
But if you care about us, escalate your efforts and do whatever you can to stop this genocide and demand a ceasefire before the end of this year. We can’t take it anymore
