I expect suitable compensation for my nightmarish experience, and the undue stress caused. I look forward to your prompt and thorough response. (N/N)
I am travelling back in the same sector on Dec 2nd with @etihad and I am very concerned after the experience yesterday.
This lack of consideration for a solo parent traveling with an infant is unacceptable.Your lack of support for parents traveling with infants is truly shocking, and your failure to accommodate my needs has significantly impacted on my experience with your airline.(7/N)
@etihad
This request was placed also because both my check-in bags were well under the 50lbs/23 kg allowance. Instead of offering any flexibility, the agent insisted that I check in the bag, causing me to carry the entire weight on my shoulders in addition my child. (6/N)
I told the agent that my roller bag contained essential items for my infant, including diapers and baby formula, and asked for some understanding. (6/N) @EtihadHelp
Secondly, I encountered further frustration at the check-in counter, where your agent refused to make any allowances for my slightly overweight cabin bag. I explained my inability to lift heavy weights due to my recent surgery (5/N) @etihad
This put both myself and my child in an extremely difficult position during the flight. The entire reason I booked with Etihad was because of your reputation for providing family-friendly services, and yet you failed to deliver on the most basic of promises.(4/N) @etihad
I have proof of my chats and you should also be able to verify rhe same form your call recordings with the Etihad agent confirming the same. Despite this confirmation, when I completed baggage check-in, I was refused a bassinet. (3/N)
@etihad@EtihadHelp
I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and consideration shown by both your staff and your airline. First and foremost, I had confirmed the availability of a bassinet for my 11-month-old infant a few days before my flight on 05 Nov 2024. (2/N)

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent flight from YYZ to MAA on 08 Nov 2024.

@etihad I was advised to follow up closer to the date, which I did one week before our flight. To my dismay, I was informed that no bassinets are available, despite my prior reservation. (2/2)
@EtihadHelp Extremely disappointed with the service I received regarding my recent bassinet reservation for my 11-month-old infant. I contacted your team two months prior to my travel date to ensure a bassinet would be available. (1/2) @etihad
Went through a nightmare traveling with my infant via @UnitedAirlines operated by @Aircanada on 10Jun2024 from AUS to YYZ. After spending 2 hours on the phone with both these airlines the evening before to get my infant added (which was NOT done properly) and... 1/N
specifically confirming with the Air Canada agent the evening before my flight, I was redirected by the agent to the United Check in counter only to be sent right back (because obviously it was an Air Canada flight). The agent could not care less about my baggage, stroller..2/N
