3. Anything sown in secret is subject to a public harvest.

4. So be loving; but not lenient. Be friendly but firm. Be compassionate but clear.

5. Don't tolerate inbox chatter that would compromise your character or taint your testimony.

6. Let the last time you did it be the last time you will ever do it.

When I told Professor Wole Soyinka that my knee surgery cost about 39 million and that I had about 10 million to pay the hospital, he said: “Let me get to Lagos this Friday and see what I can send.”

I sent him the bank details of the hospital.

By Monday, he messaged me: “Receivng no notification from you, I asked my bank for confirmation that the money has been sent. Forwarding separately the affirmation documents from the bank in case you need to track the funds. Bank document attached in case you need to track the remittance. I just wish to ensure it's landed in the right place.”

When I reached out to the hospital, they confirmed they had received the complete money.

Great has been the journey of walking side by side with you. And so today, on your 78th birthday, is a gift to me, to have the world join me in doing what I have spent 58 years doing: celebrating you.

With you, the weight of the assignment has always been a lighter cross to carry. Our two have agreed, and so our walking together has been of divine stride, a race continuously illuminated, step after step, decade after decade. My path shines brighter because I walk it with you.

Many people know you as Mummy G.O. I have the privilege of knowing you simply as my wife, my friend, and the person who has stood with me through every challenge, every victory, and every assignment God has given us. I have watched you give strength to others even when you were tired yourself. I have seen your quiet sacrifices, your compassion, your wisdom, and your unwavering trust in God. Those are the things that make me thank God for you every day.

Our children have been blessed because of your love. The family of God has been blessed because of your devotion. Countless homes have been strengthened because you answered God’s call with all your heart.

Seventy-eight years of your life, fifty-eight years of them beside me, and still I find new reasons to thank God for you. You have been wife, counsel, and companion in every sense the word was ever meant to hold.

As you celebrate today, my prayer is simple. May the God whom you have served so faithfully continue to uphold you. May He surround you with His peace, fill your days with fresh joy, strengthen your body, renew your strength, and continue to satisfy you with His goodness. May the years ahead be even more fruitful than those behind, and may you continue to see the mighty hand of God at work in your life.

Thank you for walking hand in hand with me. Happy 78th birthday, my love.

Heartbreaking reports emerging from the Oyo schoolchildren kidnapping tragedy suggest that one of the abducted pupils, Ahoro Esinele, may have died while in captivity.

According to reports circulating online, the young girl had been visibly ill for days. Images shared earlier reportedly showed her in a weak and deteriorating condition. Now, claims have surfaced that the kidnappers informed her family that she had died after enduring weeks in captivity.

If these reports are confirmed, then Nigeria has lost yet another innocent child to the growing insecurity that continues to torment families across the country.

Think about it.

A child woke up one morning, prepared for school, and left home with dreams, hopes, and expectations for the future.

Her mother watched her leave.

Like every parent, she expected her daughter to return home after school.

But she never did.

Instead, what followed were days of fear, uncertainty, tears, prayers, and agonizing waiting.

No parent should ever have to experience such pain.

No mother should have to wonder whether her child is hungry, sick, injured, frightened, or even alive.

No child should have to endure hunger, illness, exposure to harsh weather, fear, and captivity at the hands of criminals.

Whether through violence, neglect, illness, or the harsh conditions of captivity, the loss of any child is a tragedy that should shake the conscience of a nation.

Beyond the headlines and social media posts lies a grieving family.

A mother whose heart may never fully heal.

Relatives whose lives may never be the same again.

Friends and classmates who may forever remember the empty seat in their classroom.

As the remaining abducted children await rescue and their families continue to pray for their safe return, this painful development serves as another reminder that insecurity is not just a statistic.

It has names.

It has faces.

It destroys dreams.

It breaks families.

It steals futures.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ahoro Esinele and with every family still waiting for their loved ones to return home.

May justice prevail.

May the remaining victims regain their freedom.

May no parent ever have to bury a child because criminals chose to take them away.

I long predicted what unfolded yesterday and so, there are no surprises whatsoever.

If you know the political culture of our wicked brand of politicians, you also could easily have predicted who was orchestrating the shenanigans and where they would ultimately land it.

There plot is always for an outcome that selfishly serves their personal interests and subverts those of our citizens.

But ONE THING I KNOW FOR SURE THIS TIME AROUND IS:

It is not over until our citizens WIN.

Those who know me well know that nothing empowers me like my absolute love for the #TheWordOfGod. In moments like the one our country faces, I have seen The Ancient Words Ever True come through so often through the years and decades.

I especially love the verse in Psalm-2 which reveals that God laughs.

As in, God laughs.

“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, And cast away their cords from us.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, And vex them in his sore displeasure. Psalm 2:2-5”

He - our God - that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.

My word to all citizens who have stood for the right reform of our electoral law is to not be discouraged.

Stand on.

Do not waver at all.

It is not over until the will of our citizens prevail.

An assistant pastor of a local church is joining Pastor @nathanielblow hallelujah challenge without his pastor’s authority and he thinks he is being godly!

Disorderly fellows!!

You join Pastor @RealJerryEze prayers, put it on your status, call yourself after his slants but you never do same for your local church or your pastor labouring over you.

If your pastor calls for a meeting, you won’t be there.

You undermine your pastor so much by putting another pastor over him or her.

Since you don’t respect your pastor, why not join Pastor Jerry Eze’s church who you really respect?

That should be the proper order of things!

You have no reason to be under a pastor whose authority is not sufficient for you!

Submit to those who have the rule over you, who watch over your souls!

You may have many instructors (which you don’t need if you are orderly unlike the Corinthians ) but you have only one father, your pastor!

Worse, some of you are even workers and leaders in your local churches.

You all should be suspended or even removed from your service for being so disorderly but sadly your pastors don’t have the balls!

You wake up to #HallelujahChallenge2025 and even post it on your status but you don’t join your unit meeting prayers, you are never there for evangelism in your local church.

You are very disorderly individuals and your pastors should call you out but sadly, even your pastors don’t know any better.

Have you ever seen people in those churches post your pastor’s content on their status?

So why do you disrespect your pastor by posting theirs on your status?

Do you find Timothy and Titus working for Apostle Peter?

Do you find Jesus’ disciples working for the Pharisees?

Why don’t you face the ministry you have been called into?

Don’t you know that whatever you give your entire attention to is what grows?

If your attention is divided between your local church and every happening thing in the body of Christ, how can your churches grow?
