A community can help better the lives of those battling substance abuse. Not only do the professional staff within the site build a community of support, but the individual continuously going to that community can allow connections to be made that they may not otherwise have.
@AndiesMacro I loved this show! It was a great representation of many different aspects of social works that we may be able to help in. It is also very realistic in showing how things are not as simple as they may seem. #344macro

I needed this, so I know other people do as well! As social workers we tend to give continuously but sometimes forget to take care of ourselves too. #344macro

On World AIDS Day I went to a program that was educational while bringing light to information that can help end the stigma centered around HIV/AIDS. It is important to continue to educate ourselves so that we as social workers can help end the stigma. #344macro
