@Wardmaryb@colingarnes@BordenskiJimbo@LisaMichelsonMe@marklevinshow Yeah their actual news reporting on their articles online doesn’t seem to have any bias, but even the shows on their tv channel that are meant to be objective have bias. Same goes for CNN, but I have seen some bias in CNN’s online articles.
@colingarnes@Wardmaryb@BordenskiJimbo@LisaMichelsonMe@marklevinshow I watch Fox but I take the information from the opinion shows with a grain of salt. I don’t trust Fox that much, I just watch it for the opinion shows. I get my actual news from the Associated Press. There are plenty of brainwashed conservatives and liberals, no one can deny that
I'm sure that Democrats are looking forward to healing and reconciliation with the millions of Americans they think are racist, sexist, homophobic bigots. Or alternatively, they're lying and using "unity" to mean "shut the hell up."
@gailendavid@FLOTUS That’s the thing though is that he has never said that, it’s exactly what makes you the hypocrite. My point is that IF Trump were to say that (he hasn’t), you and every Democratic hypocrite would condemn it. It would be all over the news, but it’s not because he never said it.
@MindshockPod @elprez72 @RyanAFournier 2) against the popular vote of their state. There should be no questioning how many electoral votes Biden gets from California. California is winner-take-all and has 55 EV, Biden won California so he should receive 55 EV. It shouldn’t be subject to the discretion of electors.
@MindshockPod @elprez72 @RyanAFournier Slavery doesn’t exist anymore, and we weren’t even talking about that. The electoral votes of each state are apportioned based on population, and when a candidate wins that state they should get the electoral votes of that state, electors shouldn’t exist if they are going to go
@MindshockPod @elprez72 @RyanAFournier 2) The winner take all method doesn’t make sense, especially for the states that were close (when the winner gets slightly above half the vote). The congressional district method is reminiscent of how our congressional members are elected.
@MindshockPod @elprez72 @RyanAFournier I think the electoral college is great, but we really need to get rid of electors because there shouldn’t be any chance that a candidate doesn’t receive 100% of the electoral votes he/she rightfully won. I also think all states should convert to the congressional district method.
How do they know this isn’t because there’s a higher % of white people looking for jobs than there is black people? That’s a possible explanation, yet they tend to be certain that it’s systemic racism as if somehow Trump deliberately improved the unemployment rate for whites only
@eyad_atallah @BernieSanders Not exactly, the idea of the electoral college existed before slaves were going to be considered for the apportionment of representatives. Once the three fifths compromise was agreed upon, every 3 out of 5 slaves were counted for taxation and representation purposes.
If we didn’t have the electoral college, the president would be elected without influence from all around the country. The local circumstances of the least populated states would be ignored. Major cities would get complete satisfaction at the expense of smaller cities.
@DonaldJTrumpJr@realDonaldTrump You know what’s ironic about this video? The Biden supporters are concerned about the environment yet they are littering it with Trump merchandise.
On Thursday, Joe Biden successfully read a misleading speech off a teleprompter.
FICTION: He promised to hold terrorist regimes like Iran accountable.
FACT: He supported a terrible Iran nuclear deal & sent pallets of cash, despite knowing they would use it to fund terrorism.
