The process of replacing the wheels of the aircraft involves a lot more than just changing a tire.

One can fill the aircraft tires with nitrogen instead of air for a number of reasons. The use of nitrogen makes the pressure more stable, it is completely dry and carries minimum risk of fire.

Each wheel has to experience thousands of landings and the strength of each landing is measured in tons. Once the wheel is changed the complete assembly tire-wheel-brakes is checked thoroughly before the plane flies again.
