@glukianoff It’d still be 50%, no?
It’s not asking for the right answer, it’s asking for the odds of the right answer, which would normally be 25% but you have a 50% chance of getting 25%. So the odds of the right answer is 50%.
I hate this question…
I can’t accuse anybody of doing this but it would seem that building a fictional representation in polling has the same effect as online astroturfing.
Create the illusion of uniformity and agreement and then prey on the evolutionary desire of people to not get booted from the tribe. Seems highly impactful.
@TheRabbitHole Not that it matters a ton but this was a 2021 interview. Doesn’t excuse that anybody went along with the rhetoric but a lot has changed since then.
@BillSchulz I honestly just need somebody to nod a lot when I pitch the project to the Indian film studio for green light, and look skeptical when they’re talking. Oh yeah, it’s also a Bollywood film. A Bollywood Geopolitical Thriller Baseball Divorce movie.
@BillSchulz Also, there’s a fun Japanese baseball documentary on netflix called Koshien which follows a Japanese high school team as they try to qualify for their version of March Madness.
I’m writing a Fever Pitch re-write where Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore’s characters become alcoholic ex’s who have to settle who gets the Tivo in court, which through butterfly effect leads to the Cardinals winning the world series.
Can’t explain now but it’s a geopolitical thriller.
@QuetzalPhoenix Cop’s like “sir, are you taken any medications or anything?” and you try to explain how you’re sober from 9 ft above him in your monster truck.
Haha If I ever have the desire to date male incels or white AI models from Nigeria this will be my jam. It’s probably more nuanced but you get it.
I think it’s better for me to just meet women when I’m out pretending to be social. I’m not against making mistakes and praying I don’t wake up with a knife in my chest. It allows you to read people better and grow as a human. A stabbed human, but a human.
