It'd have been far easier for Apple to keep refining around the edges of an aging dev platform and not make a far-reaching move. Instead, we have SwiftUI. It's a giant sleeper, opens so many doors at all layers: platforms/native/web/frontend/backend/AR…great catalyst forward.
