#theknock Ordinary people in Extraordinary situations.
Work has got too stressful. The kids are hard work. Where did my life go? I want relief from this life. I don't know how to relax. My head is going to explode.
It's 2025, Alex eventually stops resisting looking at teenagers online. The 'boring' porn just isn't' doing it for them anymore. Alex is curious. The pop-ups keep reminding them it is there. They didn't intentionally set out to find it. It's difficult not to stumble over it. It's easy to get, it's free, it's on social media, and most of it is uploaded by teenagers themselves (mostly girls) from their bedrooms.
Alex could be anyone. Your next door neighbour, your architect, your plumber, your manager, or even you.
Don't judge people when you hear they got convicted for #childsexabusematerial they are not all pedophiles. The vast majority these days aren't. Looking at this material doesn't automatically mean you prefer children to adults. That is a Myth.

"If probation wants to survive as a profession grounded in humanity, rehabilitation and public protection, it must stop treating staff as disposable buffers for organisational risk. It must acknowledge the truth that practitioners already live every day..." 1/2
