Group projects in engineering:

- One person writes all the code
- One person designs the UI
- One person prepares the PPT
- One person does nothing
- Everyone’s name goes on the project
- Everyone gets the same marks
- Viva questions go to the wrong person
- The one who worked gets grilled
- The one who didn’t says “we tried different approaches”
- Faculty already knows who did what
- The one who did nothing ends up scoring higher
- The one who did everything gets less

A Senior in my college was genuinely one of the best coders I knew.

He had built real projects, understood concepts deeply, and could solve most coding problems without help.

He applied for a campus placement and didn’t even reach the technical round.

He got eliminated in the aptitude test.🙂
