@fredsoda Shouldn't the natural conclusion be: "Oh wow gang violence is a problem, we should do something about that"?
Getting mad at a game is an inexpensive way to demonstrate fake compassion for a group you've never spent time helping.
@Roc_KT So what are you upset at? The fact that people are gunning each other down in the streets? or that somebody made a game depicting that and they're selling it for money?
@Tectone The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
@khaliltooshort There isn't any logic to it.
They see the criticism of gang violence or the comedic depiction of it as evil and can't differentiate it from another evil.
@8BitClosedFist Bro said "Sewer Socrates" not knowing that Diogenes existed and is a much better comparison.
I Propose:
The Digital Diogenes
The Diogenes of Two-dollar steak
The Scholar or Squalor
The Squalid Sage
The Regent of Rot
@japan_nobunaga Islam isn't just a set of religious beliefs. It's a mental model that dictates behavior in all aspects of life.
Assimilation was never an option.
A problem is exacerbated by the violent and oppressive nature of their prophet.
@PalmerLuckey@thehill@TheHillOpinion There are only so many logical conclusions one can come to when you ask yourself: "Why are these people staunchly opposed to America maintaining itself as a global power?"
None of them are good.
@THEREALDATALORD@sola_chad My original question was more of an invitation for OP to scrutinize their own theological stances instead of a "I'm learning about TULIP and calvinism". lol
@THEREALDATALORD@sola_chad I appreciate the thorough explanation and all the work you put into that. I've done lot of studying of theologies pertaining to predestination and freewill. I've concluded that the further you go down any one road, they lead to heresy.
