Another post...another project. Work has begun on "Untitled Boat Game" . That's the current name until I can figure out a new name. More details will come soon enough. For now though, keep your eyes and ears open :)
Decided to see what I could come up with in an hour and ended up attempting to imitate the Elwynn Forest style in #Unity from #worldofwarcraft . To me I definitely feel the lighting is off a bit.
So I launched a feature test of my #LongLiveThePope prototype/early build over on #itchio so I can get some feedback on the state of the game sans story/polish. https://t.co/ihOMgQvBjs #indiedev#indiegame
Another day another update. Now that I have dialogue working I can now start getting the UI consolidated. That way there isn't 50 different UI screens. #indiedev#LongLiveThePope#gamedev
Have been working on my game Long Live The Pope in my free time over the past month or two and figured it would be a good time to get some feedback on the look. A rough overview of the game is simply this: The pope is dying and you must do everything within your power to win.
Decided to give everyone the opportunity to test it out in the prototype stage. I look forward to all the feedback on my first "released" game lol. https://t.co/E31D05XV6X
Enjoy! #itchio#unity3d#indiedev#indiegame#gamedevelopment
For example farms produce food, but require wood for maintenance. Some buildings multiply resources like the sawmill which takes a small bit of wood and turns it into more wood via cutting.
Ever since I stepped away from The Last Cove for a break I started working on a side project called Gold Baron. Technical bits are all done. I just have to implement the story into the actual gameplay and give it a good polish. The gist is you play as an alien who crash lands on
I should probably detail a bit more about the game. It features an overhead RTS style camera with building placement. As you build your production goes up in some ways and down in others. This is due to some buildings requiring resources other buildings produce for production.
Making progress a little at a time. Doing my best to keep the mindset of no 0% days. Took a few screenshots to share. They're rough, but it's a start. #indiedev#gamedev#1stPersonAdventure
