Just can’t leave people stranded like that, and then knowingly continue to put people in that position. Everyone knew the next coaches of folk weren’t going to get beyond Dundee, or at least would have to figure out onward travel on their own once they got there.
Today @ScotRail put coaches of folk from Abdn-Dundee saying they’d get us to Edin/Glas, unloaded us there, and told us we were on our own and to make our own arrangements from there. Then the drivers were told to go North and bring more people down. Chaos.
I booked a CityLink bus from there, as the roads S were fine by this point, but Scotrail weren’t providing us with any options. Almost 12 hours Aberdeenshire - Edinburgh. Highlight was this poor tall guy having to repeatedly close the bus sunroof!
@ArchieRaven There is a videogame version that might be a good place to learn, but it’s reasonably straightforward once you get to grips with it! The Oceania expansion with the nectar is maybe best set aside until you get the gist
I’ve never seen a hummingbird hawk moth in Scotland let alone Aberdeenshire 😮 @savebutterflies@WildlifeTrusts this one just rocked up outside the window!
My cat is in love with @AlexHorne . At first I thought she just liked taskmaster but she gets bored when the tasks comes on and often sits at Alex’s side of the tv.
Colour bars to hide me with my feet up eating hummus.
Thanks @WhoGivesACrapTP and @PetsatHome for indirectly providing my cats with their Parisian cafe / moulin rouge playhouse. Unbelievably they actually use it! I also use the scrunched TP wrappers as toys and obviously the cat food so win all round 🐾🐈⬛🐈⬛
👩🔬 Today we're celebrating #WomenInScienceDay!
Hear from our PhD student Anam about how a fascination with fixing things led her to challenge gender stereotypes in her home country, and pursue studies in mechanical engineering at @EdinburghUni.
