@egi_nupe@oil_shaeikh@ADB_Gombe A ti fe Iyawo, ko soro, owo obe lo soro.
This is a classic Yoruba proverb that enjoins us to be prepared for life after marriage. It’s not enough to sponsor weddings, but what will they be eating afterwards?
We told you they were safe. Now here is the full story of how it happened.
On 3rd June 2026, at 7:30AM, Mrs. Adegoke Olaide Busayo, 42, was driving her 11-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, to school on Elewura Street, Off Ring Road, Ibadan.
Four armed suspects in an unregistered ash-coloured Toyota Corolla had been conducting surveillance for several weeks.
The suspects documented her vehicles, her children's school, daily routine, and lifestyle as part of a calculated surveillance operation that began in May 2026. The gang even attempted to recruit an insider from her household. This was a targeted operation.
Upon receiving the distress report, Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, ordered an immediate, coordinated manhunt. FID-IRT and the Oyo State Police Command responded without delay.
The investigation advanced with the arrest of Wale Abolalewa, also known as "Oloro," who was already on the Command's watchlist. His apprehension led to the arrest of Dare Oyedele, alias "Solution," a key member of the syndicate. Intelligence from both suspects directed operatives to a hideout in Lado Community, Ayegun, Ibadan.
On 6th June 2026 at 7:30PM, exactly 84 hours after the abduction, operatives raided the hideout.
"Kelechi," a lookout who traveled from Lagos for the operation, opened fire on the operatives and was neutralized, along with another unidentified gang member.
Mrs. Adegoke and her sons, Peter and Paul, were rescued unharmed and reunited with their family.
Arrested: Wale Abolalewa ("Oloro"), Dare Oyedele ("Solution"), Semiu Ishola, 39, hideout facilitator, and Adeyemi Ayobami, 35, hideout facilitator.
Recovered: Three pump-action guns, fourteen live cartridges, one Toyota Corolla used in the abduction, a battle axe, a hammer, criminal charms, face masks, and substances suspected to be hard drugs.
Fleeing suspects, believed to have sustained gunshot injuries, are being actively pursued. Medical practitioners and hospital operators are urged to report anyone presenting with suspicious gunshot injuries immediately.

The IGP’s message to all kidnapping syndicates in Nigeria is clear: We will locate your hideouts, apprehend your lookouts, and ensure victims return home safely every time.
@freshguy_0@Big_Sinudo You can continue to wail and complain all you like, people are making huge profits on the money markets in the country.
Get busy and do something good for yourself.
There’s money to be made
@freshguy_0@Big_Sinudo Of my staff that will be paid their salaries as at when due.
Foreigners come into the country and make money. All you do daily is complain.
I want to use this opportunity to apologize to my Igbo brothers.
After deep reflection, I have finally realized that we've been fighting ourselves for absolutely nothing. The real enemy all along wasn't APC, PDP,NDC, LP, or any political party—it was mental slavery.
Following extensive consultations with Obidients and Atikulates, I have reached a historic decision: I will personally lead the Tinubu campaign across the entire South East. After all, if you can't beat them, you might as well organize the rally, print the banners, and coordinate the logistics. 🤣 😂
A new era of political enlightenment has begun.
@dinho_1545@iamdayoamusa Sociological imagination allows you to attribute personal experiences and failures to other societal factors such as: family, environment, government, etc.
She’s right to an extent.
