@areuloading they’re either lying about their qualifications or lying about their knowledge, i expect no less from crazy kpop stans that are hating on research for autistic children 😭
as someone with a masters in neuroscience and worked in 3 research labs with 2 publications, some of you are talking out of your ass about how papers work. you will see over 20 names on a paper sometimes because an intellectual contribution REQUIRES authorship for accountability
@rize07addict if you help your friend with colouring in their homework, it would only be right for them to mention that you helped them, and also, someone who might not take art classes can still help colour in 🥺
@joywasakid like these people would have an aneurysm if they found out that my supervisor in computational biophysics had a credit in a paper about zebrafish reproduction cuz apparently, you are only allowed to have credits in papers in the area you are directly accredited in 😭
formal qualifications aren’t required to contribute to a paper. i’ve seen undergrads credited on Nature papers. authorship isn’t just “credit”, it literally assigns responsibility to these contributors otherwise you risk misrepresenting who is actually accountable for this work
