Schools don't have teachers, hospitals don't have doctors, water has uranium, air is polluted, deforestation is at an all time high, the rupee is at an all time low, petrol prices are at an all time high, manipur is burning and after being the world's second-largest sugar exporter, we are now an importer. But yeah, let's talk about Vande Mataram.
We often focus on what we eat, but what we do after eating can also have a big impact on our health.
As a clinical nutritionist, one of the simplest habits I recommend is this:
Walk for 10–15 minutes after your meals.
It may sound too simple to matter, but a short post-meal walk can help improve blood sugar control, digestion, heart health and long-term metabolic health.
What happens inside your body?
After a meal, carbohydrates are broken down into glucose, which enters your bloodstream. Your pancreas releases insulin to help move glucose into your cells.
When you sit after eating, your muscles need less energy and your body relies more on insulin to clear glucose.
But when you walk, your contracting muscles activate GLUT-4, helping them take up glucose directly from the bloodstream.
The result:
• Lower post-meal blood sugar spikes
• Less demand on insulin
 Better insulin sensitivity
• More glucose used by active muscles
And it's not just about calories.
Blood glucose often rises after a meal, so moving during this period helps your muscles use glucose while it's entering the bloodstream. Research suggests that even short walks after meals can improve post-meal glucose levels.
WHO CAN BENEFIT?
Especially people with:
• Prediabetes or type 2 diabetes
• PCOS or insulin resistance
• Obesity or metabolic syndrome
• Fatty liver disease
• Sedentary lifestyles
It can also help with digestion, reducing prolonged sitting, supporting weight management and reducing that post-lunch "food coma."
HOW LONG SHOULD YOU WALK?
10–15 minutes after a meal can provide meaningful benefits. If that's not possible, even 2–5 minutes of light walking is better than sitting immediately after eating.
Try walking within about 30–60 minutes after your meal.
Walk around your home, apartment complex, with your pet, family, or while taking a phone call.
The key is consistency, not intensity.
Bottom line: Nutrition isn't just about what's on your plate. Sometimes, one of the simplest things you can do after eating is move.
A 10-minute walk after meals could be a small habit with meaningful benefits for blood sugar, digestion, energy and long-term metabolic health.

This is 2026.
Their sons and daughters study in posh foreign schools and colleges.
A poor person’s kids are left to rot and live like insects.
12 years and no improvement in education. 90 thousand government schools are shut down in last 10 years and new 45000 private schools opened.
Privatisation of education and healthcare is one of the biggest worries for our country.
Cow abandoned on the road? Sentiments sleeping.
Cow gets hit? Sentiments ACTIVATED.
Suddenly everyone becomes a protector.
Now thrash the doctor, smash his SUV and call it justice.
Don’t question who abandoned the cow or why she was on the road.
What the fuck are you afraid of?
Death?
We’re all gonna die.
Bankruptcy?
You can make it all back.
Shame?
Everyone will forget in a week.
What the fuck are you afraid of?
There is nothing to fear.
Fight for the life you deserve.

AI companies are purchasing large quantities of used and rare books. Scanning their contents to train models. Then turning the originals to pulp.
The sum of human thought, digitized and shredded.
Every book that gets scanned disappears from the physical world permanently. The knowledge survives only as training data inside a system no one can hold, browse, or resell.
What used to sit on a shelf for centuries now exists as weights in a model that might get deprecated next quarter.
THE COBRA EFFECT 🐍
During the British Raj, officials grew concerned about the rising number of venomous cobras in Delhi. To tackle the issue, they introduced a bounty for every dead snake.
At first, the policy seemed successful, many cobras were killed.
Bree Steele (Aussie living in India) just exposed the ugly truth:
Her Indian friends get work calls at 9:30 pm.
No real work-life balance.
Corporate expectations are insane.
Result?
Indian women (and men) in middle & upper-middle class families have zero time left for cooking, cleaning or running their own house. So they outsource everything to domestic help.
In Australia people finish work and still manage their homes.
In India, “hustle culture” has turned house work into a luxury many can’t afford to do themselves.
This is not ambition.
This is exhaustion dressed up as “dedication”.
Is this the life we want to keep glorifying?

KARGIL VETERAN: I’LL GIVE ₹1 CRORE JUST GIVE MY DAUGHTER BACK 💔
ANCHOR: Pradhan has resigned. What does this mean to you?
RAJESH MALL: I welcome it, but accountability came too late. Had it come earlier, perhaps my daughter Riya would still be alive.
ANCHOR: Students demanded ₹1 crore for every bereaved family.
RAJESH 💔: I don’t need compensation. I’ll give ₹1 crore if someone can return my daughter. Help families in debt, but fix the system so no parent suffers this again.
Riya studied until 3 or 4 AM and scored 99% in Biology. A father lost his daughter, and India lost a brilliant student.
The worst thing parents can do for their children is to sent them to hostel and take away their childhood so that they can do something in rat race called "education", But the cost is very heavy they pay.
