Everytime I'm hard on myself I am reminded that I lost over 100lbs in 10 months while conquering a degenerative eye disease during a pandemic. If that's not strength idk what is.
An I tripping or can you directly tie both of those transactions to Giannis and him wanting that
“Make this move or I leave” *bucks make move* “I’m leaving because of these moves”
Like brother what
Exactly. they kissed his ass, they did everything he asked. he wanted doc? they got doc. he wanted another star? we got dame. he wanted to remain competitive? we got myles, you want your brothers on a contract? ok got it. we never got an opportunity to do our own thing.
This is gonna sound bad and it doesn’t get the Bucks any closer to a title. But the org had to get back in control. Giannis being gone is probably for the best. Every decision being based around his happiness wasn’t sustainable.
@nathanmarzion Giannis was seemingly responsible/decision maker for every bad move Bucks made past 5 years yet presented publicly that he wasn’t and Bucks decided on all these failed moves and that the team failed him. Bucks brass had to have been fuming last 18 months.
Giannis delivered in MKE. He will always be a legend. I can’t wait for the day when 34 goes in the rafters, statue is up, and this is all forgotten.
Until then, all I can remember is him running when it gets tough, making it about him, and chasing rings. He changed.
I dont blame Giannis for wanting a fresh start, BUT...
-The #Bucks bent over backwards to keep him by signing his brothers.
-The Dame trade
-He was never fully locked in this past season
-He ruined his body summer after summer playing for Greece
Bad luck in Miami, dude.
