@Rashedzuzi@Hizert_ No, I'm just curious if your IQ is actually at room temperature. Looks like it's even below. Or, maybe, you just got access to the Internet 2 days ago and can't control yourself? Plausible too.
Em... with all due respect, but, I'm soon to be 41 and I'm ok with fast paced combat. How are you gonna "enforce" the playlist? Register with an ID? What if you're 30+ and unemployed? I know it's all a joke, but this ageism has nothing to do with reality. A lot of CoD players are pushing 40s. The first CoD released in 2003 and I was there 23 years ago.
@Fukky290 Agree. And I'd also say that Activision needs to stop inviting "content creators" to their events. Because they're not objective at all. Their incentive is too boost viewership. Real game journalism needs to be a thing. But, unfortunately, we have what we have.
That's exactly what we're talking about. You're using BO1/BO2's player counts to tell us what MW4 should be. The problem is that those player counts don't tell you what those players want MW4 to be.
It's also a pretty bad-faith argument because we've seen this cycle over and over. "Just make the next CoD like the old games" sounds great until the next game actually does it. Then the same people find something new to complain about and the previous CoD suddenly becomes the underrated masterpiece. Just browse YouTube and you'll find videos "Vanguard wasn't actually that bad", "MW2 was hated for no reason" etc.
You're confusing "people enjoy this particular old game" with "people want every new game to copy the old game's design."
BO2 having players proves that BO2 has players. It doesn't prove those players want a new CoD with BO2's movement, TTK, maps, or mechanics, or graphics.
You can't keep treating every player-count observation as a survey of what millions of players supposedly want.
Fortnite has MILLIONS of players. It doesn't mean every Fortnite player wants every game to be like Fortnite.
@jacobnewtron Why are you listening to this buffoon? Unc, not unc. He's just BAD at the game, at any game. I'm in my 40s and week 2 changes made me refund. I'm not playing another year of mediocrity.
@Kellhat@SilencerGG Yes, just watch their devlog "From the Ward" where they proudly talk about this. So much for the "vision", smh... It's unbelievable how they've folded so quickly.
@SpookyBOS The changes they've made are atrocious and turned the game into complete and total mediocrity. Looks like I'm staying on BO7 for another year. GG, IW, you've listened to the wrooooong feedback.
It’s nothing like BO7. BO7 is fluid, fast, snappy, and enjoyable. This? Mmmm…. After the changes is very mediocre. They “listened” to the wrong feedback. They’ve been bullied by the people who were gonna shit on the game no matter what. And a lot of them weren’t even playing the game. When neroscinema and others from the usual crowd say “oh i like what activision did” tells tou everything you need to know. They’ll go back to shitting on cod shortly after because it’s their entire business model.
