@SJWebsterArt multi-disc games work fine now, they save at the disc change point and you can restart the console to load the next disc from the Satiator menu. I do still plan to add a "live" multi-disc switching option just for comfort's sake
@Replicant813 Nope, no movement of late. Things have been very difficult over the past few months. I'll be back to work on the project when life becomes a little bit more manageable again
hey everyone who agrees with me that the Satiator menu is ugly af should check out Retrohead's amazing menu replacement "Rings" https://t.co/VwJZHnbsR1
@retro_recall@OverJumpRally You can boot code from the top cart slot - like the Action Replay cartridges do. I'm not sure why the Saturn BIOS does that; it does seem suss from a security perspective - some of their documentation references this - but then, the real security boundary was in the CD subsystem
@Type1Dialectic Sadly I haven't had time to work on it at all, my life has been arse over elbow this year. Once I ship Satiator multidisc and fix MSHvSF I'm hoping to finally get to it - the original reason I bought a Saturn all those years ago...!
@samson7point1 The menu converts CUE files to a binary .desc file for fast access during gameplay, then writes it to the SD card for the Satiator to read
